international service grant.

I just heard back from the Pioneer Leadership Program, an organization I am involved with here at the University of Denver about an International Service Grant that I applied for earlier this quarter. My grant has been approved and I am more than excited to serve in a community far different than my own. I believe that international service will be one of the best ways to immerse myself into the Argentine culture and I am so thrilled that I have been given the opportunity to do so. IFSA Butler has provided me with a few ideas of different service opportunities in Mendoza and I am looking forward to doing some more research and finding something that really aligns with my passions. I also hope to make contact with the Junior Achievement office in Buenos Aires (BA) so that during my extra time in BA at the end of my trip I could possibly do a little volunteer work with them.

I am excited for the many possibilities and thankful that the Pioneer Leadership Program is supporting my development not only as a leader, but also as a global citizen.
